Choose Your Charging Setup

Wall Connector or Universal Wall Connector?

The right charger depends on the vehicles you need to charge now, the vehicles you may own later and the electrical capacity available at the property.

Tesla Home Charging

Wall Connector

Tesla’s hardwired Level 2 home-charging solution. It can deliver up to 11.5 kW / 48 amps when the vehicle and electrical system support that output, with indoor or outdoor installation and Wi-Fi connectivity.

Best for: Tesla owners who want convenient overnight charging and a permanently installed charger where they park.

Flexible Compatibility

Universal Wall Connector

Universal Wall Connector combines NACS and J1772 charging in one unit and is compatible with most electric vehicles sold in North America. Charging speed varies by vehicle and available electrical power.

Best for: mixed-EV households, workplaces and properties that want broader vehicle compatibility.

Installation Process

From quote request to charging.

A clear process keeps the project easier to understand and helps us identify electrical or permitting needs before installation day.

1

Tell us what you need

Share the vehicle, charger, service address and where the vehicle will park. Photos of the panel and proposed charger location are helpful.

2

Electrical review

We review panel capacity, circuit requirements, mounting location and the wire route to identify the appropriate installation approach.

3

Quote & project requirements

We explain the proposed work and identify permits, inspections, panel work or other requirements that apply to the installation.

4

Professional installation

We install the dedicated charging circuit, wiring or conduit, mounting hardware and Wall Connector according to the approved project scope.

5

Commission, connect & test

We commission the charger, confirm operation and help you understand registration and Wi-Fi/app setup so the system is ready to use.

Electrical Capacity

You may not need a panel upgrade.

We evaluate available electrical capacity before recommending additional equipment. Wall Connector can be configured at different charging outputs, so the right solution is based on your vehicle, daily charging needs and the power available at the property.

When capacity is limited, options may include a lower charging output, power-management equipment or an electrical-service upgrade. We explain the practical choices before work begins.

What can affect installation cost?

  • Distance from panel to parking location
  • Indoor vs. outdoor routing
  • Finished walls or concealed cable routing
  • Trenching or detached garages
  • Existing panel condition and available capacity
  • Panel or service upgrades when required
  • Pedestal or specialty mounting
  • Permit and inspection requirements

Frequently Asked Questions

Tesla Wall Connector installation questions

What does Wall Connector Certified Installer mean?

Eco-One has been approved within Tesla’s installer network for Wall Connector installation. We remain an independent electrical contractor.

Do I need a 60-amp circuit?

No. Maximum output uses a 60-amp circuit, but Wall Connector supports lower output levels. We size the installation around your vehicle, available capacity and desired charging rate.

Can you install charging for a non-Tesla EV?

Yes. Universal Wall Connector includes NACS and J1772 charging and is designed for broad EV compatibility. Eco-One also installs compatible Level 2 chargers from other manufacturers.

Should I buy the charger before contacting you?

You can purchase Tesla home-charging equipment through Tesla. If you’re unsure which charger or configuration fits your property, contact us first and we can review the installation needs before you order.
